9-nine- Ruler's Crown - S01

High school student Kakeru Niimi is volunteering at an anime convention to support his city when a sudden earthquake strikes. In the chaos, he stumbles into a shrine and witnesses a strange relic breaking. The next day, his classmate Miyako Kujou-who was cosplaying at the event-expresses her fear that the earthquake cursed her, but Niimi dismisses it as superstition. His skepticism fades when he realizes people across the city are developing supernatural abilities, some using them for harmful ends. Niimi isn’t on his own, though. Miyako, his sister Sora, and the aloof Noa Yuuki have also awakened to powers of their own. Together, they must work to protect their hometown from further disasters while uncovering the truth behind these mysterious events.
