365 Days to the Wedding - S01

Takuya Oohara and Rika Honjouji, two reserved coworkers at a Tokyo travel agency, are perfectly content with their single lives. After hours, they retreat to their own comforts-Takuya relaxing with his cat, Rika poring over maps. But their peaceful routines are threatened when their company announces plans to open an Alaskan branch in a year and transfer an unmarried employee there. By chance, Takuya and Rika run into each other on a day off and, though they’ve never spoken before, confide in one another about their shared anxiety over the transfer. Inspired by Takuya’s similar worries, Rika suggests a bold plan: fake an engagement for the next 365 days. Takuya agrees, unaware that their pretend relationship could reshape the very lives they’re trying so hard to protect.
