ZENSHU - S01

Natsuko Hirose is a rising star in the anime industry, already directing her own series despite her young career. Though her work is praised, her perfectionism leads to endless delays, and the stress eventually lands her in the hospital with food poisoning. When she wakes, she’s in a strange world under attack by a monstrous Void-only to be rescued by the legendary Nine Soldiers: Luke Braveheart, Memmeln, QJ, and Unio. Confused at first, Natsuko soon recognizes this as the setting of "A Tale of Perishing," her favorite childhood film. But the story is unfolding differently, and with a Void invasion looming, she resolves to prevent the tragedy she knows is coming. Her animation peg bar suddenly glows, granting her the power to bring her sketches to life. With this ability, she begins fighting the Voids alongside the Nine Soldiers, altering the story’s events. Armed with her deep knowledge of the film, Natsuko works to reshape the plot while searching for a way to return to her own world.
