Zakuro

Second Lieutenant Kei Agemaki, the son of a renowned general, has spent his life hiding his intense fear of supernatural creatures. But when he and two others are transferred to the Ministry of Spirit Affairs-where they must live and work alongside youkai-he finds himself confronting his deepest dread. With the guidance of the fox spirit Kushimatsu, Kei and his comrades must learn to cooperate with the youkai maidens-Zakuro, Susukihotaru, Hoozuki, and Bonbori-to investigate paranormal cases. Set in an alternate version of Japan’s Westernization era, "Otome Youkai Zakuro" explores the tensions and bonds that form when east clashes with west, tradition meets foreign influence, and men interact with these mysterious women. As the world shifts around them, the unlikely partnership between the youkai maidens and human officers must adapt to survive.
