Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V - S01

Action Duels have become a global phenomenon, letting duelists physically move and fight alongside their Duel Monsters thanks to the "Solid Vision" system, which has evolved to give the monsters actual mass. Yuuya Sakaki is the son of Yuusho Sakaki, who founded the You Show Duel School in Miami City. Yuusho believed dueling should bring joy to people, not be used for conflict, and pioneered the idea of Entertainment Dueling. But at the peak of his career, Yuusho vanishes, missing a crucial match against Action Duel champion Strong Ishijima. Though shaken by his father’s disappearance, Yuuya resolves to follow in his footsteps as an Entertainment Duelist. Years later, during a duel with Strong Ishijima, Yuuya’s determination triggers an unexpected miracle. His pendant glows, transforming his cards into Pendulum Cards and allowing him to perform a Pendulum Summon-a method no one, not even Yuuya, had ever seen. This breakthrough makes him an instant sensation. Reiji Akaba, CEO of Leo Corporation and head of the prestigious Leo Duel School, takes notice and begins mass-producing Pendulum Cards to integrate the technique into dueling. As Yuuya delves deeper into Pendulum Summoning, he also uncovers clues about his father’s disappearance, slowly learning what it truly means to be an Entertainment Duelist.
