Yobi, The Five-Tailed Fox

"Yobi, The Five Tailed Fox" follows the story of a kumiho-a nine-tailed fox from Korean folklore known for shapeshifting into human form to deceive and harm people. But unlike most kumiho, Yobi is a gentle young fox with only five tails. After fox hunters kill her family, Yobi lives in seclusion with a group of stranded aliens, avoiding humans entirely. When one of her alien friends is taken by a villager, she reluctantly ventures into the human world to save him. In the village, she encounters Geum Yee, a student at a school for troubled children. Drawn to Geum Yee, Yobi joins the school and discovers the joys of human life. But danger lurks as a relentless fox hunter and a shadowy figure pursue her.
