Wolf's Rain - S01

In a dying world, an old legend persists: when the world meets its end, a gateway to paradise will open. This utopia is the only hope for the last survivors of the barren land, but the legend claims only wolves can find their way to this mythical place. Though believed to be extinct, wolves still exist, hiding among humans with carefully crafted illusions. A lone wolf named Kiba is lured to Freeze City, a desperate town ruled by the cruel Lord Orkham, by a strange and irresistible scent. There, he meets other wolves-Hige, Tsume, and Toboe-who have also been drawn by the same aroma. Guided by the scent of "Lunar Flowers," said to hold the key to opening the door to their promised land, the wolves embark on a journey through ruined wastelands and crumbling cities. But they are not alone in their search for paradise, and others with darker motives will stop at nothing to claim it first.
