Wasteful Days of High School Girls - S01

On her way to the entrance ceremony at Sainotama Girls' High School, Akane Kikuchi reflects on her childhood dream of becoming a manga artist-a goal she hasn’t made much progress toward. When she arrives, she’s surprised to find herself in the same class as her two best friends: the stoic, expressionless Shiori Saginomiya and the wildly energetic Nozomu Tanaka. Tanaka soon realizes her own childhood dream-to be popular with boys and get a boyfriend-is impossible at an all-girls school. Frantic, she starts begging her classmates to introduce her to their guy friends. But her peers are anything but normal. From a loli obsessed with grandmothers to a shut-in chuunibyou and an obsessive overthinker, Tanaka gives each one a nickname to highlight their quirks. And so begins the idle, chaotic days of these high school girls, always starting with the same question: "Hey, wanna hear something amazing?"
