Villainess Level 99: I May Be the Hidden Boss But I'm Not the Demon Lord - S01

The story of "Light Magic and the Hero" starts like a typical otome RPG: the protagonist, Alicia Ehnleit, encounters her three potential love interests before eventually crossing paths with the villainess. Yumiella Dolkness, though noble-born, has dark hair and rare dark-type magic-both traits linked to the Demon Lord-which makes people fear her. At age five, Yumiella recalls her past life in modern Japan and learns she’s destined to be the hidden boss, appearing only after Alicia and her suitors defeat the Demon Lord. Unwilling to follow the game’s script-and far more interested in its fantasy aspects than its romance-Yumiella quietly trains her magic and levels up in secret. But her plans unravel during the Royal Academy’s entrance ceremony when her power is measured at level 99, a feat considered impossible even for seasoned knights, much less a 15-year-old girl. With the royal family seeking her aid and others demanding proof of her strength, Yumiella understands that her hopes for a peaceful life are over.
