When Lum was born, a mix-up with the mail meant a family friend-a witch-never received an invitation to her birth celebration. Angry, the witch cursed Lum, declaring she would never find happiness with her true love. Now, in Tomobiki, a new amusement park has opened, and the whole group is enjoying its attractions on the first day. But during a magic show, Ataru is transformed-for real-into a giant pink hippopotamus. As Lum tries to find the magician responsible for changing her darling, things quickly spiral into chaos.
