Umineko: When They Cry - S01

The third entry in the beloved "When They Cry" series, "Umineko no Naku Koro ni" follows the Ushiromiya family as they gather for their annual meeting on the secluded island of Rokkenjima. This year, with the aging family patriarch Kinzou in declining health, the discussion turns to the distribution of his vast fortune. But Kinzou has little interest in inheritance matters. After his doctor warns him of his impending death, he becomes obsessed with reuniting with Beatrice, the Golden Witch-his one true love. Having spent years dabbling in the occult, Kinzou sets a dark ritual into motion upon his family’s arrival. When a fierce typhoon cuts off the island, the family finds themselves trapped as a wave of gruesome murders begins. With eighteen people stranded and suspicion mounting, the line between reality and fantasy blurs, plunging them into a desperate fight for survival.
