Ultra Maniac - S01

Ayu Tateishi is a well-liked second-year middle school student who couldn’t care less about fantasies or miracles. She’s happy just keeping up her cool, composed image-partly to impress her crush, Tetsushi Kaji. But her ordinary school life takes a turn when Nina Sakura, a new transfer student, shows up and reveals she’s actually a witch. Ayu becomes the only one who knows Nina’s secret: she casts spells using a mini-computer, and she’s on a mission to collect five Holy Stones to earn the right to marry the prince of the Magic Kingdom. Nina’s clumsy magic and tendency to interfere in Ayu’s personal life only cause headaches for both of them. Ayu has to juggle protecting her reputation while helping Nina keep her powers hidden from Hiroki Tsujiai, Tetsushi’s sharp-eyed best friend and a manga enthusiast. Things get even messier when Nina’s quest attracts allies and rivals from the Magic Kingdom, pulling Ayu into a world she never imagined existed.
