True Tears - S01

Shinichirou Nakagami had what seemed like an enviable life to his classmates-he lived with Hiromi Yuasa, a brilliant and popular girl. But since her mother's death, Hiromi has become distant and withdrawn at home, leaving Shinichirou caught between others' misplaced jealousy and his own confusion. Things grow more complicated when he meets Noe Isurugi, a girl rumored to place real curses on people-and her latest target is him. When Noe curses Shinichirou, the backlash strikes her own beloved chicken, Raigomaru, turning it into a raccoon. Yet Noe doesn't cry-she can't. Long ago, her tears were stolen. To get them back, she needs someone else's tears, and Shinichirou has a person in mind whose sorrow he'd like to take away.
