Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 - S01

Mirai Onozawa, a middle schooler frustrated with her family life, vents her anger by wishing everything around her would break apart. Moments later, her reckless words seem to take shape when a massive 8.0 earthquake strikes. On the first day of summer break, Mirai grudgingly agrees to take her little brother Yuuki to a robot exhibition in Odaiba. But while they’re inside, a violent earthquake rocks the Kanto region, leaving the siblings stranded as the city collapses around them. In the chaos, they meet Mari Kusakabe, a motorcycle-riding single mother who offers to help them. Together, the three begin a difficult trek across the ruined city, hoping to find their way back home and reunite with their families.
