To the Abandoned Sacred Beasts - S01

The Patrian civil war forced the Northerners, outnumbered and desperate, to create half-human, half-beast soldiers to stand against the Southern forces. These warriors, known as "Incarnates," overwhelmed the battlefield with godlike power, securing victory after victory. But as the war dragged on, the beasts within them became an uncontrollable problem-one no ordinary solution could fix. When the war ended, stories emerged of Incarnates haunted by their past, unable to escape the horrors they endured. Special Sergeant Major Hank Henriette, once their captain, now works as a Beast Hunter, putting down those who have succumbed to their inner demons. Nancy Schaal Bancroft’s father, a former Incarnate, dies at the hands of a Beast Hunter. Driven by vengeance, she sets out to kill the man responsible-but after confronting him, she shifts her focus. Instead of revenge, she searches for the truth behind her father’s death and the dark fate that binds the Incarnates.
