Though I Am an Inept Villainess - S01

In the luxurious heart of the Kingdom of Ei lies the Maiden Court, home to the empress and her four consorts, all selected from five powerful clans. Reirin Kou, a poised and virtuous trainee consort, shines as the ideal future empress-her only flaw being her fragile health. In contrast, Keigetsu Shu is crude and resentful, glaring at Reirin with bitter envy like an outcast among the court's refined elegance. On the night of a rare comet, Keigetsu's jealousy drives her to shove Reirin off a balcony in a murderous rage. Though Reirin survives, Keigetsu is captured and sentenced to death. Unknown to everyone, Keigetsu has cast a spell to switch bodies with Reirin, intending to steal her life. But while Keigetsu struggles with Reirin's weak physique, Reirin-now in Keigetsu's body-discovers the thrill of strength and freedom for the first time. No matter whose form she inhabits, she refuses to give up on living.
