The Tatami Galaxy

On a sweltering summer day in Kyoto, a young man trudges home, looking forward to the relief of his apartment’s air conditioner. But his plans are ruined when his friend Ozu spills soda on the remote, leaving it-and the AC-useless. Stuck suffering in the August heat with his friends, they stumble upon what appears to be a real time machine in their storage room. Without thinking of the risks, they decide to go back in time and snatch the remote before Ozu can ruin it. But their simple plan spirals into an unexpected adventure far beyond anything they imagined.
