The Star of Cottonland

When 18-year-old Tokio finds an abandoned two-month-old kitten named Chibi-neko, he convinces his mother-who is both allergic to and afraid of cats-to let him keep her. She reluctantly agrees, worried about his growing isolation after failing his college entrance exams. Chibi-neko quickly grows attached to Tokio. In her own imagination, Chibi-neko is a tiny human who speaks in full sentences, though people only hear her meows. She’s convinced that all humans were once kittens like her. One day, a stray cat tells her about a magical place called Cottonland, where dreams can become reality.
