The Princess and the Pilot

The war between the Levamme Empire and the Amatsukami Imperium has dragged on for years. Amid the conflict, the Levamme prince confesses his love for Juana del Moral and promises to end the war within a year as part of his marriage proposal. When the Amatsukami learn of this, they attack the del Moral estate, aiming to kill Juana. Desperate to deliver the prince his bride, the San Maltilia Airforce enlists a mixed-blood mercenary-a bestado-to secretly fly Juana to the Levamme capital. The pilot, Charles, takes the job...but crossing the ocean alone into hostile lands turns out to be far more perilous than anyone expected.
