The Little Prince and the Eight-Headed Dragon

Susanoo, the youngest son of the creation gods Izanagi and Izanami, is a formidable warrior who can overpower tigers with his bare hands. When his mother dies, he is heartbroken and resolves to find her in Heaven. With no clear path ahead, he carves a boat from a tree and sets out across the ocean, accompanied by his rabbit friend, Akahana. Unsure how to reach Heaven, Susanoo first seeks guidance from his siblings-Tsukuyomi, ruler of the Night Kingdom, and Amaterasu, ruler of the Light Kingdom. Though they warn him of the dangers ahead, neither can dissuade him or point him toward Heaven. As Susanoo presses onward toward the edge of the world, the eight-headed dragon Orochi stirs, blocking his path.
