The Knight in the Area - S01

Kakeru and Suguru are brothers who share a deep love for soccer. While Suguru rises through the ranks as a promising young player in Japan's youth system, Kakeru steps away from playing after facing setbacks, choosing instead to focus on a managerial path. But an unexpected turn of events forces him to reconsider his decision. Determined to one day join the national team and compete in the World Cup, Kakeru pushes himself harder than ever. He isn't alone in his ambition-his childhood friend Nana, known as the "Little Witch" for her incredible skills, is already a star player for Japan's women's national team. Her success inspires Kakeru to keep striving toward his dreams. "Area no Kishi" weaves together the intensity of soccer with the passion of youth, delivering a story full of emotion and determination.
