The Kawai Complex Guide to Manors and Hostel Behavior

Kazunari Usa is a high school freshman about to start living on his own after his parents move away for work. He looks forward to his new independence and hopes for a quiet, normal teenage life-but the Kawai Complex, his new boarding house, is anything but ordinary. The other residents are a colorful bunch: his roommate Shirosaki is a pervert with masochistic tendencies; Mayumi Nishikino, an office worker who drinks too much, despises couples due to her bad luck with men; and Sayaka Watanabe, a seemingly sweet college student, takes pleasure in toying with men’s feelings. Disgusted by the eccentric crowd, Kazunari nearly leaves-until he meets Ritsu Kawai, a shy upperclassman. Despite the chaos around him, he starts falling for her, and his plans for a simple life quickly unravel.
