The Fire Hunter - S01

After fleeing a brutal attack, Touko wanders lost through a city under siege by the Spiders, a group of people with deadly supernatural powers. She came to the city to return the belongings of Haijuu, a fire hunter who died shielding her. With the help of Haijuu's dog, Kanata, and Akira-another fire hunter who has guarded her so far-she presses on. But when Akira is pulled away by urgent duties, Touko gets caught in the turmoil of battle and embarks on a new path of her own. Meanwhile, Haijuu's son Koushi fights to protect the city. Though he lacks physical strength, his cleverness has led to the creation of formidable weapons, including a massive cannon that summons lightning to strike down the invaders. This devastating power is seen as an affront to the gods, drawing the wrath of the deity Hibari. As gods and humans alike weave their schemes, Touko and Koushi find themselves entangled in the chaos, each struggling to survive the unfolding storm.
