The Family Circumstances of the Irregular Witch - S01

One day, while wandering through the forest, a witch named Alyssa stumbles upon a bush shimmering with magical energy. Inside, she finds a baby-not a witch, yet brimming with power far beyond that of an ordinary human. Compelled by the discovery, Alyssa takes the child in as her own and names her Viola. Sixteen years pass, and Viola has grown into a tall young woman who now stands head and shoulders above her eternally youthful mother. Her mature appearance often leads others to mistake them for sisters, but Alyssa cherishes her daughter regardless-even if Viola has a clingy side and scares off anyone she thinks might steal her mother’s affection. Though Viola doesn’t know her origins, she’s content with Alyssa and the close-knit circle of Alyssa’s friends who helped raise her. With her mother’s guidance, Viola begins honing her magic, determined to prove herself worthy of Alyssa’s pride.
