Jill Savelle, the fiancée of Crown Prince Gerald der Kratos and renowned as the "Lady Goddess of War," finds herself hunted by the very nation she vowed to defend. Betrayed by her own betrothed, she is branded a traitor and thrown into prison. In her final moments, consumed by regret, she suddenly wakes up six years in the past-no longer willing to be a pawn in someone else's game. Now a 10-year-old girl again, Jill is determined to avoid her doomed engagement to the prince. In a bold, half-serious move, she declares her love to the 19-year-old dragon emperor Hadis Teos Rave, a man destined to drown the land in blood due to his eventual madness. To her shock, he accepts. The Hadis she encounters now is nothing like the tyrant from her memories-he is gentle, though burdened by misfortune. Jill must decide: can she steer him away from his dark fate, or is his descent into villainy inevitable?
