The Castle of Cagliostro

Arsene Lupin III finds out the money from his recent casino heist is actually "Gothic Bills"-near-perfect counterfeit currency with a legendary reputation. Teaming up with his partner Daisuke Jigen, he travels to the tiny country of Cagliostro to trace their source. On their way, they rescue a girl fleeing a high-speed pursuit, only to learn she’s Clarisse d’Cagliostro, the late Duke’s daughter. She’s being hunted by Count Cagliostro, who aims to seize her family’s fortune by forcing her into marriage. Lupin, ever the charming rogue, can’t stand to see a woman in trouble and decides to help. Soon, Goemon Ishikawa XIII, Fujiko Mine, and Inspector Zenigata get involved, each with their own reasons. As the group gathers at Cagliostro Castle, Lupin recalls his visit there a decade earlier, and the castle’s long-buried mysteries begin to surface.
