Fuuka Miyazawa walks away from her life as an idol and, on a whim, takes a flight to Okinawa instead of heading back to her lonely apartment in Morioka. Lost and unsure of what to do next, she drifts through the town until she discovers the Gama Gama Aquarium-a small, struggling facility barely staying afloat. The aquarium is in trouble. Few visitors come by, and the repairs it desperately needs are too expensive. The director has resigned himself to closing it for good by summer’s end. His granddaughter, Kukuru Misakino, refuses to accept this fate. She loves the aquarium and its creatures too much to let it disappear without a fight, so she sets out to raise enough money in time to save it. When Fuuka stumbles into the aquarium, she’s captivated by its charm and pleads with Kukuru for a job. But with no experience, she quickly proves more of a burden than a help. Meanwhile, Kukuru begins to doubt whether her dream is even possible. As time runs out and the pressure builds, can the two of them find a way to rescue the place that means so much to them?
