Sweet Blue Flowers - S01

Fumi Manjoume, a quiet and reserved girl, was once close friends with the outgoing and kind Akira Okudaira in elementary school. But their friendship faded after Fumi moved away. Now, years later, Fumi returns to her hometown after enrolling at Matsuoka Girls’ High School. She reunites with Akira, who attends Fujigatani Girls’ Academy, but their bond isn’t what it used to be. At her new school, Fumi catches the attention of Yasuko Sugimoto, a popular upperclassman who treats her with unusual favor. Used to relying on Akira in the past, Fumi now faces the challenge of discovering her own identity instead of leaning on others. Yet Akira still hopes to revive their old friendship. As they navigate the trials of high school, the two must find a way to reconnect before the pressures of growing up drive them apart for good.
