Honda, Kawasaki, and Suzuki are the top agents of the Sushi Police's elite ninth unit-a specialized force dedicated to hunting down restaurants that serve illegal or untraditional sushi, no matter how minor the violation. Backed by the World Food-Culture Conservation Organization, they scour the globe day and night, enforcing their strict sense of justice with ruthless efficiency. No one who defiles Japan's culinary traditions can evade their judgment. During a routine mission, the Sushi Police cross paths with Sara, a sharp and ambitious TV reporter determined to expose corruption within their ranks and the organization supporting them. Though they detain her for questioning, her quick thinking, charm, and cunning let her slip away-an escape that sets in motion a series of events threatening to uncover the Sushi Police's real agenda.
