Sunday Without God - S01

God has turned His back on the world, leaving it in a grim state where life cannot begin or end, and the dead wander endlessly among the living. Before departing, He granted one final miracle-the creation of "gravekeepers," mystical beings who can lay the dead to rest through proper burial. Ai, a kind but sheltered girl, serves as her village’s gravekeeper, taking over after her mother’s passing. One day, a man named Hampnie Hambart, who claims to be Ai’s father, arrives and murders everyone in her village. With nothing left and no direction, Ai chooses to follow him on his travels. As she journeys across the land, she continues her work as a gravekeeper, bringing peace to the dead and helping those still alive, all while uncovering the truths of the broken world God abandoned.
