Summer Time Rendering - S01

Shinpei Ajiro grew up with the Kofune family and their two daughters, Mio and Ushio, after losing his parents. Though he later left their island home to study in Tokyo, he returns when Ushio drowns trying to save a child. At her funeral, his closest friend mentions bruises on Ushio’s neck, making Shinpei question whether her death was truly an accident. As he pieces together the mystery, unsettling events unfold-people vanish without explanation, and odd rumors resurface. Mio remembers an old legend about "Shadows," beings said to herald death for anyone who meets their own. What if the stories are true? Now, Shinpei must confront the darkness lurking on Hitogashima Island, fighting against a cruel fate to honor Ushio’s last wish: keeping Mio safe.
