Torishirojima is a quiet, slow-paced island far removed from the noise of the city. Hairi Takahara, a boy with a heavy heart, uses his grandmother's recent passing as an excuse to escape there for the summer. The island's relaxed atmosphere is a welcome change from the busy life he left behind. Staying with his aunt, Kyouko Misaki, he plans to spend the season helping her sort through his grandmother's old belongings in the shed, alongside his cousin, Umi Katou. As he settles into the island's rhythm, Hairi begins exploring in his free time. He meets the upbeat Tsumugi Wenders, the withdrawn Shiroha Naruse, the restless Kamome Kushima, and the blunt Ao Sorakado. Through their company and the island's quiet secrets, Hairi finds himself pulled into a summer of joy, memories, and moments that will shape him forever.
