Stellvia of the Universe

In 2167, a devastating burst of radiation from the nearby star Hydrus Beta’s supernova wreaked havoc on Earth, claiming countless lives. By 2356, humanity has united to rebuild, bracing for the supernova’s impending second wave. To safeguard the planet, enormous space colonies known as "Foundations" have been constructed across the Solar System. These serve as hubs for research and exploration. At one such Foundation-the Stellvia-Shima Katase defies her mother’s wishes and enrolls as a preparatory student, driven by her dream of seeing space firsthand. Training to become a pilot at the Stellvia, Katase aims to join the "Great Mission" and shield Earth from the coming disaster. As she faces challenges in her classes and personal life, she gradually transforms into someone who could hold the key to humanity’s survival.
