Beneath Southern Cross Isle, a shadowy group called the Glittering Crux Brigade operates from a hidden underground base. Their goal is to control the "Cybodies"-stone giants that can become towering humanoid fighters, but only within a hidden dimension called "Zero Time." To escape this limitation, they seek to destroy the seals guarded by the island’s four seal maidens, allowing them to unleash the Cybodies anywhere. One evening, a boy named Takuto Tsunashi washes ashore and is found by Sugata Shindou and his fiancée Wako Agemaki, one of the seal maidens. After recovering, Takuto befriends them and enrolls in the island’s academy, unaware that many students are secretly part of Glittering Crux. But Takuto has a secret of his own: in Zero Time, he can pilot his own Cybody, the Tauburn. As the conflict unfolds, Takuto and the Tauburn may be the only hope to stop Glittering Crux from breaking Wako’s seal and fulfilling their dangerous plans.
