Hiyori Yamakawa grew up watching her father's odd habits, but one thing she always cherished was their time together fly fishing-a tricky but satisfying way to catch fish. Even after his unexpected passing, she still visits the shore in her free time, finding comfort in this hobby that reminds her of him. Three years later, Hiyori's mother announces her engagement and arranges a dinner with her fiancé, his daughter, and Hiyori to mark the occasion. Nervous and needing distraction, Hiyori heads to her usual fishing spot, where she meets Koharu Minagi, a lively girl who takes an instant liking to fly fishing. What starts as a chance encounter soon turns into something more: Koharu is Hiyori's soon-to-be stepsister. Their shared passion becomes the foundation for a bond that will grow as they navigate their new family and the memories they'll create together.
