The Drops of God

Shizuku Kanzaki, the son of the famous wine critic Yutaka Kanzaki, grew up under his father's unusual training methods-forced to memorize scents like leather belts and pencils, all in the name of mastering wine. The relentless lessons made him despise everything about it, so he left home to work as an ordinary beer salesman, swearing off wine for good. But when his father dies unexpectedly, Shizuku is pulled back into the world he tried to escape. According to the will, the inheritance-including a prized wine collection-will go to whoever can identify the "12 Apostles" and the legendary "Drops of God." Shizuku has a year to complete the challenge, though he sees no point in competing since he’s the only heir. Unknown to him, his father adopted Issei Tomine just before his death. Issei, a celebrated wine critic known as "The Prince of Wine," is now Shizuku’s rival for the estate. With no real wine expertise, Shizuku faces near-impossible odds. Can he uncover the mystery of the "Drops of God" before time runs out?
