Skate-Leading Stars - S01

Kensei Maeshima was once a child prodigy in figure skating, but he walked away from the sport when his rival, Reo Shinozaki, refused to recognize his talent. Now a student at Inodai High, Kensei lends his athletic abilities to various sports teams without ever committing to one. Everything changes when Reo leaves singles skating to join St. Clavis Gakuin High-last year’s Grand Prix champions-as part of their elite skate-leading team. Hayato Sasugai, a classmate with an unexplained link to Reo, persuades Kensei to take up skate-leading for a chance to finally beat his rival. Kensei’s arrival in Inodai’s Skate-Leading Club sparks immediate resistance. Though a formidable singles skater, he struggles with teamwork, a crucial element in skate-leading. His impulsive nature, unreliable performances, and strained history with some teammates make it hard for them to accept him as their "Lead." But if they want to reach the Grand Prix Finals-let alone challenge St. Clavis Gakuin-they’ll need to overcome their differences and work together.
