Simoun - S01

The lush and tranquil nation of Simulacrum thrives on the planet Daikuuriku, sustained by the holy Sibylla priestesses and their flying machines, the Simoun. These ancient vessels, powered by relics of the past, wield the devastating Ri Maajon-abilities strong enough to rend the sky itself. Aaeru, a headstrong girl, dreams of piloting a Simoun and joins the Sibylla at Chor Tempest. But her training is cut short when war erupts, as rival nations seek to seize the Simoun’s power for themselves. Convinced the machines are their only hope for survival, these desperate factions plunge Simulacrum into chaos. Now, as enemies close in and losses mount, the young women of Chor Tempest must adjust to their harsh new reality. To protect their home, they must uncover the secrets buried within the Simoun and the true nature of Ri Maajon.
