Sentenced to Be a Hero - S02

In a world where being called a Hero is a punishment rather than a reward, the worst criminals are sent to fight in an endless war against the Demon Lords. Marked as Heroes, they are forced into battle with no hope of escape-even death is denied to them, as they are endlessly revived and thrown back into the fight. Xylo Forbartz, once a revered Holy Knight commander, now leads Penal Hero Unit 9004, a squad of convicts treated as disposable by the nation they defend. During a brutal mission, he crosses paths with Teoritta, a living weapon known as a Goddess, whose appearance could change the course of the war-and Xylo’s own destiny. As his unit is pushed into ever more deadly battles, Xylo must juggle leadership, survival, and the search for the truth behind his condemnation.
