Selection Project - S01

Suzune Miyama has spent much of her childhood confined to bed due to a fragile heart. Yet despite her condition, she’s never given up on her dream of becoming an idol. Her chance finally arrives with the seventh Selection Project-a grueling competition series famous for launching the career of the legendary idol Akari Amasawa. Nervous but hopeful, Suzune takes part in the preliminary round. Her singing captivates the judges and competitors alike, but her anxiety gets the better of her mid-performance, causing her to freeze. Though she recovers, the mistake costs her the victory, and she’s eliminated-or so she thinks. To her surprise, Seira Kurusu, the girl who won, decides to withdraw. She insists Suzune is the more talented singer and deserves the spot instead. Stunned by the gesture, Suzune vows to reunite with Seira someday as top-tier idols. With renewed determination, she braces herself for the trials ahead.
