Scumbag System - S01

Shen Yuan is all too familiar with the tropes of xianxia stories-the hero inevitably turns to demonic cultivation, takes revenge on his awful master, and ends up with a crowd of admirers. So when he wakes up inside the world of "Proud Immortal Demon Way," he knows exactly how things are supposed to unfold. The catch? He isn’t the protagonist. Instead, he’s the villainous master, Shen Qingqiu, destined for a humiliating downfall at the hands of his disciple, Luo Binghe. Determined to avoid this fate, Shen Yuan tries to soften his character and earn Luo Binghe’s trust before resentment can take root. But the original Shen Qingqiu was notoriously cruel, and any attempt to act out of character triggers a system that forces him back on script. With the story’s predetermined tragedies looming, Shen Yuan must carefully navigate his role-because if he can’t change Luo Binghe’s path, his own doom is guaranteed.
