Scorching Ping Pong Girls - S01

The Japanese table tennis scene is shaken when an underdog team shatters Oudou Academy’s nine-year winning streak, proving the impossible is possible. Suddenly, players across the country dare to dream of reaching the national tournament. At Suzumegahara Middle School, a modest team carries their own strengths: Hanabi Tenka, with her lightning-fast attacks; Hokuto Itsumo, who reads the ball’s path before it moves; Agari Kamiya, known for her deadly backhand smash; vice-captain Mune Oomune, an aggressive powerhouse; and captain Kiruka Ushirode, whose defense is unbreakable. Despite their talent, they’ve never advanced beyond local competitions. Then comes Koyori Tsumujikaze, a transfer student whose passion for the game is infectious. Her arrival sparks something new in the team-a shared hunger to aim higher. With Koyori’s unshakable spirit driving them forward, they set their sights on the national stage, ready to prove themselves against the best.
