Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It

After returning from their trip to Okinawa, Shinya Yukimura and Ayame Himuro-graduate students at Saitama University-still haven’t gathered the data they need to scientifically confirm their love for each other. Since recreating the exact conditions of their trip isn’t possible, the two stubborn scientists turn to the university’s Biological Sciences department for help. With guidance from Chris Floret and Suiu Fujiwara, fellow graduate students and an established couple, Yukimura and Himuro start measuring their oxytocin levels in different romantic scenarios. They quickly realize their emotional responses pale in comparison to those of a more experienced pair. Chris then challenges them with a difficult question: what if their "affection" turns out not to be love at all? Determined to explain the gap in their findings, Yukimura risks everything to prove their "love" is real.
