SABIKUI BISCO - S01

Japan lies in ruins after a catastrophic disaster turned the land into a barren wasteland of sand. A mysterious rusting disease now plagues the survivors, and the government blames Bisco Akaboshi, calling him the "Man-Eating Mushroom" for allegedly spreading deadly spores. But Bisco knows the truth-he's a "Mushroom Protector," searching for the fabled "Sabikui" mushroom, believed to be the only cure for the rust disease. With his loyal giant crab Akutagawa and the compassionate doctor Milo Nekoyanagi-who seeks a treatment for his afflicted sister-Bisco presses forward. Though the world fears and shuns him, he refuses to abandon his mission to heal the decaying land.
