Royal Space Force - The Wings of Honneamise

Shirotsugh "Shiro" Lhadatt is a cadet in the Kingdom of Honneamise's Royal Space Force (RSF),though neither he nor anyone else in the program has ever been to space. The RSF is widely seen as a joke-dismissed by the public and ignored by a government more focused on provoking war with a neighboring country than advancing science. After attending a fellow cadet's funeral, a directionless Shiro wanders the city at night and meets Riquinni Nonderaiko, a deeply religious young woman who believes wholeheartedly in the importance of space exploration. Her passion reignites Shiro's purpose, and he volunteers to pilot a prototype rocket, potentially making him Honneamise's first astronaut. Alongside a group of aging but determined scientists and engineers, Shiro and the RSF work tirelessly to turn their fledgling space program into something meaningful. But their progress draws the scrutiny of the government, which has its own plans for the RSF. Despite the challenges, these unlikely dreamers refuse to give up, driven by the hope that somewhere beyond Earth, humanity might still find a way to redeem itself.
