The Robotics Research Club at Central Tanegashima High School has spent years working toward a single dream: building the GunPro1, a fully operational giant robot. Now, Akiho Senomiya is determined to see this project through and fulfill the hopes of every past club member. But the club faces a major obstacle-they don’t have the money to pull it off. To make matters worse, Kaito Yashio, the only other member, couldn’t care less about helping his childhood friend. Instead, he spends his days glued to his "PokeCom," playing mecha-fighting games. One day, while Kaito is wasting time as usual, he picks up a strange, garbled message-a voice barely audible through static. Tracking it down, he realizes it came from Airi Yukifune, an AI that exists solely in the augmented reality world of the PokeCom. As Kaito digs deeper, he stumbles upon an unsettling report in Airi’s database-one that could spell disaster for the future.
