Raven of the Inner Palace - S01

In the royal court, few figures inspire as much fear as admiration as the Raven Consort, Ryuu Jusetsu. She lives secluded in her dark palace, distant from the emperor, while whispers swirl around her. Some say she wields strange powers, granting favors-whether retrieving lost possessions or casting curses. To some, she is an ageless sage; to others, a ghostly menace. Yet Jusetsu remains indifferent to the gossip, content with her solitude. That changes when Emperor Ka Koushun storms into her domain, seeking her help with a baffling case. For the first time, Jusetsu must leave her palace. Though the emperor’s persistent visits irritate her, she can’t refuse him. Her predecessor’s warning lingers-the Raven Consort must stay alone, untouched by desire. But when she takes Jiujiu, a curious young court girl, as her sole attendant, Jusetsu forms her first real connection. Together, they take on the requests of those within the palace walls. Yet danger stirs beyond, and by stepping into the light, Jusetsu risks awakening a past best forgotten.
