Manaka Mizusawa, a third-year junior high student, is asked by her teacher to hang up a poster for a trial ice hockey class run by the Dream Monkeys, their city's pro team. Intrigued, she decides to attend and convinces her younger sister Ayaka, along with her clubmates Kaoruko Yanagida and Mami Ono, to join her. At the gymnasium where the class is held, they meet two other third-years, Riko Saginuma and Naomi Takagi.
