Pokémon: The First Movie

Team Rocket used the fossil of the legendary Pokémon Mew to create the first successful clone-a powerful being named Mewtwo. But Mewtwo, angered by the nature of its artificial birth, lashes out in fury. The leader of Team Rocket, Sakaki, manipulates the unstable Pokémon into carrying out his dark schemes. Disgusted by humanity’s deceit and the cruelty it has endured, Mewtwo cuts itself off from the world, plotting revenge while searching for meaning in its existence. Posing as the strongest Pokémon trainer alive, it lures the region’s top challengers into battle. Now, with the world in danger, skilled trainers Satoshi, Takeshi, and Kasumi must face Mewtwo and stop its destructive rampage before it destroys humanity.
