Playground - S01

Eleven-year-old Naho lives with her father and her two-year-old brother, Jun. Her mother passed away after Jun was born, leaving Naho to shoulder the responsibility of caring for him. Though understandable, the burden frustrates her-she longs to play with friends like any other girl her age, but Jun’s needs always come first. One day, a peculiar man in a long coat appears before her, clutching a large suitcase. He calls himself "Kotaro the Dreamball Dealer" and offers to whisk her away to a dreamland, far from her daily struggles. But after meeting him, strange things start happening to Naho. Suddenly, she’s laughing with friends, then worlds shift before her eyes. She finds herself back with just her father and mother-their family whole again. But as unease creeps in, she slips into Jun’s dream instead. Lost and uncertain, Naho doesn’t know what to ask Kotaro. What does she truly want, deep down?
